Chair Table Glass
Design and manufacturing

This full-scale production of three complimentary dining elements functioned as my senior thesis while studying Industrial Design at Western Washington University.

With the initial goal of designing a chair, I was dove into floods of articles on sitting ergonomics in. Most of my findings indicated that sitting in chairs was just bad for you.

This prompted me to explore seating solutions that "supported" the user less while elevating the sitting experience slightly.

Ergonomic testing ensured that the visual height and width of each component actually made sense.

Materials were chosen that could be easily recycled, and nearly every piece was designed to pressure fit together.
